Barrel Racing is a horse race with turns. The cowgirl rides her horse at top speed in a clover leaf pattern around 3 barrels in the arena. Tipping a barrel is permitted, but if it gets knocked over, a five-second penalty is added to her time. It’s all about speed in this event.
